Cousin Roddy and I just barely avoided inadvertently joining the tugboat races. As they had beer and barbecue, I can't say that it would necessarily have been a bad thing. Maybe next year!

Last weekend I officially perfected my meatloaf recipe.
Don't get me wrong - the meatloaf was already perfect. Perfect.
But I was having issues with my gravy. It was not rich/creamy/tangy enough. Something was missing. And now I have found the missing ingredient and therfore perfected recipe. I can now make the best meatloaf with mashed baked potatoes and gravy. Amen.

Sound the trumpets!
